The FANS endowment is managed by the North Shore Community Foundation, an organization that helps us ensure that all contributions continue to work for artists in our great community.

FAQ: Why does Zeffy ask for donations or tips at checkout?
It’s because the Zeffy business model provides its fundraising platform completely free of charge to nonprofits, like FANS.
No Nonprofit Fees: Unlike traditional platforms that charge monthly subscriptions, percentage cuts, or credit card processing fees, Zeffy charges the organization $0.
Funding Operations: The voluntary contribution from the donor is Zeffy’s only source of revenue.
Covering Costs: This money goes toward payment processing fees, platform maintenance, security, and building new tools.
Donor Choice: The extra contribution is optional and can be changed to zero or adjusted by the donor before completing the payment. Regardless of whether a donor adds anything, the selected nonprofit still receives 100% of their intended gift.
